Hilarie Ashton

  

I am an English PhD student at CUNY Grad Center, where my focus is composition/rhetoric and memoir. Other interests include digital media, feminist theory, 20th and 21st century literature, film theory, and critical theory. I will begin teaching at Queens College in the fall. I received my MA in humanities & social thought from New York University and my BA in English and philosophy from Williams College.

I am also a yoga teacher; I received my 200 hour Vinyasa teaching certification from Laughing Lotus Yoga Center. I recently joined the teaching staff at New Leaf Yoga & Pilates in Park Slope.
